The material testing department covers a wide range of specialized services which extend from routine testing of construction materials to consultation on complex problems related to material technology and its applications. The testing department functions under strict quality control procedures. All tests are conducted in accordance with internationally recognized British standards (B.S), American standards (A.S.T.M), (A.S.H.T.O) European standards and Omani standards. Laboratory equipped with modern calibrated testing equipment’s in the field of concrete, soil and rock, aggregate, cement, steel reinforcement and building components, chemical analysis, water analysis, non-destructive testing and loading of structures. This department can carry out most of the construction materials tests, serving the needs of both public and private sectors.
