Land Treasures Engineering Laboratories (LTEL) is a specialized engineering laboratory established in 2019 and headquartered in Sohar’s Al Awhi Industrial Area. We provide expert geotechnical investigation, construction material testing, and topographical survey services across the Sultanate of Oman and the UAE.
Our laboratory is fully equipped with the latest MATEST testing machines and international-standard drilling rigs, enabling us to perform tests in strict accordance with BS, ASTM, DIN, and AASHTO standards. Every result we deliver carries the weight of our ISO accreditations and our commitment to accuracy.
With four branch offices strategically located across Oman — Sohar, Muscat, Al Buraimi, and an international office in the UAE — we can mobilize our teams rapidly to any site within the Sultanate and beyond.

How We Grew
Led by Geotechnical Excellence
LTEL was founded and is led by Eng. Hosam Osman Almagbool, a qualified geotechnical engineer with a B.Sc. in Geology Engineering and over 15 years of hands-on experience in geotechnical investigations, drilling operations, and construction material testing across Oman and the wider Gulf region.
His deep technical expertise and commitment to delivering accurate, internationally compliant reports have made LTEL the preferred testing laboratory for major government ministries, international contractors, and leading Omani construction companies.
